In an emergency, dial 999 or 112.
You can call or visit our headquarters 24 hours a day.
Emergencies
You should call 999 when:
- lives are at risk
- there is violence and / or serious injury
- serious crime is happening
- the criminal is still at the scene or nearby
The operator will need to take your name, as well as details of what has happened. This will take time, but we need to get all the information from you so that we can send the right help and resources.
Making a complaint
You can contact our professional standards department at Police Headquarters (details above) by phone or letter.
