Two charged in connection with alleged robbery in Gas Place

TWO people will appear before the Magistrate today charged with offences in connection with an alleged robbery from a 21 year old man in Gas Place in the early hours of Wednesday 12 August.

It is alleged that £200 cash was taken from the man during the incident.

As a result of Police enquiries, a 16 year old male youth, who cannot be named, and 20 year old Kieran William Monet of St Helier, both charged with the offence of robbery, will appear before the Magistrate at 10 am today.

It is possible that other arrests will be made in connection with this alleged robbery.
