CCTV images of Iceland 'till grab' - can you help?

THE States of Jersey Police are releasing CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a till snatch from Iceland at Georgetown last month.

On Tuesday 21st July 2009, at approximately 14.00 hours, a man was allegedly responsible for snatching a significant sum of money – hundreds of pounds - from an open till in Iceland Superstore, and then running from the area.

The man thought to be responsible is described as 6ft 3 inches tall, of a medium build wearing a grey baseball cap, a black top with a Lonsdale logo in white across the front, dark trousers, dark shoes and thick rimmed black glasses.

Enquiries are continuing. Anyone who recognises the man in the photos, or who was in the store at the time or who may have information about the alleged till snatch is asked to contact the States of Jersey Police on 612612, or give information anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
