Four charged with public order offences following alleged affray at Weighbridge

RELEASED TO MEDIA AT 9:15 AM ON TUESDAY 25 AUGUST 2009

THREE men and a youth will appear before the Magistrate today charged with public order related offences at the Weighbridge on Sunday 23 August after Police responded to an incident at the Weighbridge.

They were arrested within 15 minutes of the incident being reported to the Police at around 10 pm.

Their details are as follows:

David Michael Cooper (22) of St Helier, is charged with affray and possession of an offensive weapon at the Weighbridge on 23 August.
A 17 year old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is charged with affray and grave and criminal assault at the Weighbridge on 23 August.
Carl Marcel Henriette (20), of St Saviour, is charged with affray at the Weighbridge on 23 August.
Daniel Stephen Mandel (20) of St Saviour, is charged with affray at the Weighbridge on 23 August.
