Man charged with alleged multiple break-ins

Following enquiries by the States of Jersey Police, a man was arrested yesterday in connection with a recent series of domestic burglaries.

As a result of these investigations a man appeared before the Magistrate this morning (Friday 17 July) charged with eight offences relating to alleged break-ins, and attempted break-ins in different locations around the Island between 26 May and 5 June this year.

Luke Clint Cox (22), a resident of St Helier, also faces charges of allegedly driving without insurance, driving whilst disqualified, and taking and driving away a motor vehicle, all on 27 May.

The States of Jersey Police are committed to pro-actively targeting people whose actions and behaviour cause distress and concern to others.
