One in Court following successful Drugs Squad operation

Following a covert Police operation, which was concluded on 10th June, five people were arrested, all of whom were suspected to be concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis within the Island.

As a result, a 43 year old man will appear before the Magistrate today (Friday 12 June) having been charged with allegedly being concerned in the supply of drugs in Jersey.

Peter Hagan, of Longueville Road, St Saviour, who was born in Glasgow, was arrested by Drugs Squad officers from the States of Jersey Police in St Helier, on Wednesday 10 June.

He also faces four additional charges:

One charge of possessing cannabis
Two charges of supplying cannabis
One charge of supplying or offering cocaine

Four other men who were arrested at the same time as Hagan, aged 48, 24, 21 and 42 respectively, have all been released pending further enquiries.
