Boy charged with motoring offences

RELEASED TO MEDIA AT 08:55 AM ON WEDNESDAY 24 JUNE 2009

A 16 year old boy will appear before the Magistrate today charged with four motoring offences.

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faces the following charges, all dated 23 June 2009 in Gloucester Street, St Helier.

  • Taking and driving away a motor vehicle
  • Driving while over the prescribed limit
  • Driving whilst disqualified
  • Having no insurance

 

The States of Jersey Police remain committed to targeting youth crime and offending, and behaviour which cause distress and inconvenience to others.
