Man charged following alleged knife threat

Affray and Offensive Weapon charges

THE States of Jersey Police can now confirm that the 35 year old man arrested last night following an alleged incident involving a knife in Roussel Street has now been charged and will be appearing in the Magistrate’s Court at 10.00 am on Monday 29th June 2009.

Suna Miah, (35), of St. Helier, born in Bangladesh, has been charged with Affray and Possession of an Offensive Weapon. He has been remanded in custody until his Court appearance.
