Two charged with alleged break and entries

RELEASED TO MEDIA AT 10:20 AM ON MONDAY 2 NOVEMBER 2009

TWO men will appear in the Magistrate’s Court today (Monday 2 November) charged with break-ins at two different commercial properties last week.

Andrew Ernest Louis (38) of St Helier, is charged with the following offences:

  • Break and entry and larceny from Randall’s Brewery in Clare Street, St Helier, on 30 October.
  • Break and entry and larceny from the Clock Café in Cheapside, St Helier, on 30 October.
  • Receiving stolen goods from both premises on 30 October.

Christopher Michael Thomas (25), of St Helier, is charged with the following offences:

  • Break and entry and larceny from Randall’s Brewery in Clare Street, St Helier, on 30 October.
  • Break and entry and larceny from the Clock Café in Cheapside, St Helier, on 30 October.
  • Malicious damage at Randall’s Brewery, Clare Street, on 30 October.

Both men were arrested on Friday 30 October, and subsequently charged.
