Death of man following fall in St Helier

THE States of Jersey Police can confirm that they were called to an incident in the La Motte Street area on Monday 9 November at approximately 20:40 pm, where a man is alleged to have fallen from the roof of a property.

The man, who was in his twenties, was taken to Hospital where he was treated for his injuries, but later died in Hospital.

The man, who can now be named as 25 year old Keith Robert Robertson, as his next of kin have been informed, lived and worked in the Island.

Enquiries remain ongoing into Mr Robertson’s death, which is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be submitted to the Deputy Viscount.
