Jersey Live passes peacefully

Speaking about the Jersey Live event, Det Ch Insp Andre Bonjour, who led the policing operation at the weekend said:

‘We felt the event went extremely well, over both days. From our point of view it was very well run, with the stewards and States and Honorary police working well together. There were just two arrests made, by the Honorary Police, which were directly related to Jersey Live.’

‘We feel that the stewards did an excellent job. There were around 20 people evicted from the site, for various reasons, by the stewards.

‘The event passed peacefully and without incident, and we feel the decreased Police numbers this year were appropriate to the event.

‘We would like to take this opportunity to praise the good behaviour of festival goers over the weekend.’
