6th victim dies in knife attack in St Helier

States of Jersey Police have confirmed that a sixth victim in the multiple stabbing incident at St Helier earlier today, has died.

The woman had been undergoing surgery at St Helier Hospital after she was left in a critical condition following the incident at Victoria Crescent, Upper Midvale Road, St Helier.

The victims include two women, two men and two young children. The identities and ages of the deceased have yet to be confirmed.
 
A major incident room has been set up at Police Headquarters in St Helier, and Police are appealing for anyone who may have any information to contact them on 01534 612612.
